Our Approach

Through the implementation of a mix of different intervention types, we hope to make change at every level and expand the reach of our impact. We believe that only by addressing systemic drivers can we eliminate the most deep-rooted causes behind problems, and thus defines our greatest goal at the operational level.

We have established a set of principles to guide us in the design and implementation of our work with partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries at the operational level.

We would like to hear your new thoughts or ideas to address any issues related to our thematic focuses.  Please share with us!

Flexible
Approach

We strive to enable and facilitate partners and beneficiaries to propose, co-create, and execute their solutions to issues they have observed or experienced.

Example: Unbearable Heaviness

We strive to engage different stakeholders in the public, private, non-profit, and philanthropic sectors to form partnerships through our network. We believe that working together will help us achieve more and go further in the goal to make a lasting impact, especially in addressing complex social issues.

Example:  Funders’ Network on Ageing WellCross-sector Task Force on Elderly Services , Constructive Discourse

We provide funding and capacity building support that enable NGOs and social ventures to experiment with new and innovative approaches to address social issues. While innovation entails risk, it may very well achieve vast impact.

Example: Big Silver Community

We strive to maximize the impact of our partners and beneficiaries’ work, understanding that flexibility is constructive in adapting to changing times, circumstances, and the progression of ideas.
