鑑於COVID-19 為在港難民和尋求庇護人士增添了格外的精神壓力，擇善基金會資助RUN香港(RUN)以回應有關這方面的需求。RUN推行三方面的項目，旨在為有需要的難民和尋求庇護人士提供安全和可靠的環境，協助他們從創傷中復元，建立支援網絡，以及改善抗逆解難的技能。
三類項目包括 :
- 以兒童為對象的運動訓練班
- 青少年夏令營
- 兼職臨床心理學家的輔導
在2020年9月至11月期間，三名義務教練主持了共九節運動訓練班，有二十九名兒童 (3至12歲) 參加。從2020年9月開始，RUN在運動訓練班上堂前增設了一小時的功課輔導環節，由漢基國際學校第12級的學生擔任義務導師，他們每兩星期當值一次。惟在疫情下因社交距離限制的關係，計劃已暫停。
十二名青少年(七女五男，平均年齡18歲)在2020年10至11月 間的六個星期日參加了一系列由Asia Pacific Adventures (APA)舉辦的戶外活動，諸如水上運動 、 立式划槳體驗、獨木舟、攀石、峽谷行和探索活動等。

- 截至2021年1月31日，共舉辦70節心理輔導環節，12 人受惠。
心理輔導參加者的心聲 :
「接受馮博士的輔導後我才知道自己的問題所在，之前一直以為自己OK，其實並不OK。我終日躲在家裡，每星期只會出街一次返教會。在家天天帶著孩子，令我有吃不消的感覺，精神壓力很大，但是我沒有外出的動力，亦不想見人，只想留在家裡。」
「記得第一次見完馮博士，我感覺舒服了很多，我有了傾訴感受的對象，也找到了外出的理由。我又參加了RUN舉辦的英語班和MakerBay手作班，再加上馮博士的輔導環節，我感覺比以前開心多了，想法變得更正面，對將來抱持積極態度。」
