Education

ZeShan Foundation holds firmly to the belief that no youngster should be deprived of equitable and quality education.

The Foundation is keen to support a range of educational initiatives, including projects improving literacy at the primary-wide level, courses passing on life skills to young people and exchange programs for students to have a taste of living in another culture. The Foundation has awarded a grant to Lingnan University in Hong Kong to set up scholarships for students to study abroad, recruit two native English tutors, and launch an annual lecture series where distinguished heads of liberal arts colleges will be invited to Lingnan.

Support is also given to the development of family business education in Hong Kong and China through research, on-the-ground training and conferences. In the past three years the Foundation funded the International Conference on Entrepreneurship and Family Business at Zhejiang University City College and was involved in the establishment of the Institute of Family Business at the College.
